I kid you not! We would even shove the presents in the playpen around the tree. It cracks me up to think of it now, but I know why my mother did it!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05528541804521203406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674562610629395012.post-65467082461914344062007-12-21T18:27:00.000-05:002007-12-21T18:27:00.000-05:00This is the first year since having children that ...This is the first year since having children that the ornaments go all the way down to the bottom. A Christmas where I don't have to pick broken ornament out of the baby's mouth is better than one with an elegant tree.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2674562610629395012.post-76514615452605478222007-12-21T17:28:00.000-05:002007-12-21T17:28:00.000-05:00ROFL the tree disgusted with it's naked bum. I do love the tree not being a battle in our house. Some lights over the mantle and the Yankee sparkling pine candle smell works for me! I do visit the tree in the other room from time to time so it doesn't get lonely. I draw the line at actually talking to it, though because it's fake anyways. Peace, ah yes, that usually comes around 8:30pm at our house. Somedays it can't get here soon enough!
