Clara is teething. So, despite her typical sweet and easy going personality (HA!) for the last week month she has primarily looked like this: or like this: And most often like this: And I have looked like this: Anyone want to babysit?
It seems like every time one of my babies was fussy, some helpful person would point out, "maybe they're teething". To which I wanted to respond, "THAT'S NO EXCUSE! THEY NEED TO JUST GET OVER IT!". But I didn't. I know it hurts to grow teeth. I just wish it didn't take so long.
The boys are a bit fussier than usual because of those darn canines. They started getting them all at once. I think they only have one or two left. Praise God! They don't even like having their teeth brushed these days. It must really hurt.
Thanks for stopping by! The creek is actually across the street - you have to go to the edge of our yard and look down to see it very well. (The first picture from Feb 27 is from the porch...all our weeds are covered in snow in that photo.)
i really would if i could. i do miss those toddler days. not the teething so much, but the rest of it. ok, and the diapers, I don't miss those. And the getting up at 5:30 every morning. but everything else.
Oh I feel for you...The Baby is just starting to act like a normal toddler now after what seemed like months of teething...I hope it's over quickly for you both.
I'm a child of God. I am blessed to have been married for 15 years to an amazing, kind and funny man who, for some incomprehensible reason, is crazy-in-love with me too. We have four beautiful and exhausting children. I am an emotional, chatty, girly, disorganized, work in progress.
I strive each day to meet the needs of my family, reflect the love of my Savior and find joy in the chaos of my life.

Hang in there.

Teething and potty-training: the parental biathlon.
You need:
Zilactin grape teething gel
Tylenol infant drops
Large bottle of chilled white wine
Apply Zilactin and Tylenol to Clara as needed. You drink the wine.
I also found that fresh green grapes, quartered and frozen made great snacks during teething.
I agree with Karen. LOL. Your poor Clara. Your poor sanity.
Motrin, girlfriend. You know, for Clara, just to "take the edge off." Teething, long car rides, general grouchiness, motrin is great!
Hey Joy,

I agree with Karen about the wine...lol.
I'll trade you. I'd rather have crying all the time then pooping all over the place.
Oh, teething.
And how is it that you don't drink? ;)
