I'm just like you, except I'm wearing socks, not thinking of a fat-lip, and I don't homeschool. Oh, and I have a sister. Otherwise, that's my list.

You're breaking my heart. Look at your last post then look at your answer to number 13.

You need to shift your perspective, the difference between "thin" and "in shape" is huge. Be kind yourself and your daughter. Be healthy, not skinny. Be aspirational not critical. Look at what can be not what isn't.

Not wearing--tiara! Hahahahaha!

I want a maid, too.

Oh Amanda, that was tongue in cheek, I actually thought about it before I posted it...whether or not people would know I was being silly. I want to be lots of things more than I want to be thin in 10 years, but couldn't figure out how to consolidate them into one word. But you are right, in light of my previous post, it's probably not something I should kid around about.

Still laughing about the tiara. I need a tiara. Maybe my three boyz would take me more seriously (that is, defer to my authority more) if I were to wear one.

I think all of us moms should wear a tiara. I mean, I'm the mother of a princess, which makes me a queen, right?

I did it! Took me all day but I managed to get it out juuuuuuust under the wire. Plus, I have a new dining table on the way and my den is CLUTTER FREE! This is such enormous news that I will still be talking about it when I see you on Saturday. :) Bethi will be lucky if I don't announce it during the service and/or show slides...

P.S. I have a tiara. All good WTHSers wear tiaras. If you aren't already in the know, you'll be filled in this weekend. Something tells me you might be a good candidate for membership!

I certainly didn't mean to ruin any fun. I suppose with my nearly three year old sponge hanging on my every word over in my world I am extra sensitive. No offense intended.

Joy, of course said...

Oh Amanda,
No offense taken. I appreciate it when people let me know I am not coming across the way I intended.
THat actually happens to me a lot. :)

Joy, you would tag me just while I am packing to go....ah well, you'll have to wait for my terseness for a week... :)

And yes, I own a tiara too. In fact, when Bill and I were in Chinatown in SF, we came upon a store that had 8-10 shelves of tiaras! With like 20 tiaras per shelf!! Yee-hah!

Ging - you ARE bringing your tiara to WTHS this year, right? I last wore mine for the Kentucky Derby this year. I figured the Queen would be in a hideous hat, so I opted for a bejewelled look.
