Anemia, My Foot!

THIS is why I'm tired...

I took these pictures Monday because I wanted to get a shot of my baby smiling for once.

Really, I think these photos explain life with Clara better than any words I could write. I am thinking of using number four as my new Avatar.

And today, she figured out how to escape from her crib.

Your prayers for us during this time are appreciated. We're also accepting gifts in the form of child restraint devices and sedatives. (Don't worry the sedatives are for me)

I highly recommend putting one of those child-proof doorknob covers on the inside of their bedroom door at night. That way, even if they're not in a crib, they should still be confined to their room (which should be safe for them, right?) Great pictures!

Lindsay escaped at 19 months, just days after I'd claimed a toddler bed someone at church was tossing to the curb. I have it outfitted with a bed rail. My daughters both transitioned pretty smoothly without too much lost sleep...prayers Clara will also...

She's adorable and wonderfully made! When God designed her, He must've thought you needed a challenge! ;)

Anemia is prety tiring, too.

We keep a baby gate up on the door of The Baby's room. Not one of my kids was in a crib after about 15 months old, because I have three jumpers. And she reminds me of My Baby! Ha! We're just lucky.

She is GORGEOUS! The "spittin' image" of her Mama! I don't know anything (yet) about transitioning from crib to bed. I'll be praying for peace in your home... :)

oh man how can you not just melt at that last photo...better watch that pose closely, it could cause you to do irrational things to please your child!

Crib tent at Target. I've got one ready to go. Blake's jumped out once and every time I go into their room, he's got his leg hiked over the rail. He jumps out again and he's getting the crib tent. I definitely plan to keep these two in their cribs until they're three! I need my sleep and sanity!

Wow. I'm tired looking at those pictures too. Sedatives, some candelight, a massage...all well-deserved.

Those pictures crack me up. I love it.

Tommy jumped out of his crib when I was about two weeks shy of having Katie, and I wept.

I'm with Wendy on the doorknob cover. All three of mine were locked in as long as possible.

We didn't have much problem with my first 2 boys. I'll get back to you next year with boy #3.
Hang in there!
