A boy plays in the dirt.
"Pay attention Ben!"
He waits for the ball
(Hand by your ear,
lift your leg,
point your toe)
So much to remember.
He throws it like a pro.
Tries for a hit. And tries again.
The unbridled joy of 3-year-old success.
There's nothing like it.
I love being a mom.

What awesome pictures. I love the fact his hat looks too big for his sweet head!
Oh that Ben is just too darned cute! I can't wait to see him for his big b-day party next week. I could just hug him through those pictures!
So much fun! Ross played baseball one year - he never got up from playing in the dirt and he was six! We haven't signed him up since - he can play in the dirt with his friends at home for free.
I am overwhelmed by the cuteness. What is it about little boys in baseball uniforms that is so stinkin adorable? I love the too-big hat.
Those pictures are positively adorable!
He's a treasure!
